The best charger i ever had at home! This charger also Wake UP DEAD Battery's, where other chargers can not charge because the battery has no voltage anymore, this charger have an manual mode where it charge anyway. In the display it warn you again with the message No battery voltage, charge anyway? Select yes and it start to charge a dead battery. You can see in the display if it can hold a charge or not. Every halve second this charger is measuring the Cell-Voltage with open circuit ( No Current), and also shows the resistance of the cable and battery! Battery with high resistance warm up quickly and hence you can not charge them at fast. This charger have many protections on board to take care your battery. It ask you how many cell you want charge. At start it calculates everything you given, when you made an error it will not charge and give you the option to change the faulty input. It warn you that battery voltage is to high or to low.It always ask you the capacity of the battery pack or cell, then it calculates automatic the right charge and dis-charge current. Showing graphic on screen, works very well. I now make my own programs written in C and convert in .exe that you just start in windows, and the charger begins to charge automatic via usb connection. Off course you can also do it all by hand with the button and lcd. I find the leds very useful as even in the dark you can see what the charger is doing. In manual mode you can use it even as power supply, as long as you have a load connected. 0 to 38V/ 0 to 5000 mA/ 70W.No need to update, because it comes at home with the latest firmware already.WARNING This charger is only intended for professional people that know exactly what they are doing! It have so many options that a beginner does not know what to do. Far better than an IMAX -B6 pro and all the 4 button copy's around! It gives a lot of info to you while charging on the display. Temp, U cell, I cell, max U and I, The resistance, capacity taken, type battery, all in real-time.At start it write all the input in memory from you, then give you the option to store your own program in Flash-E PROM at the end, with a single click of the button.Everything works perfectly in Windows 8.1 Pro-X64, update one! You even do not need the DVD, windows install the driver automatic. This is the only charger so far i know, that also can charge a dead battery with zero voltage. The C5 then just ask you the max charge voltage, current, temperature (optional) and charging time. After charge 3 or 5 minute, you can go to automatic mode again, only if the battery can hold a voltage.A really DEAD battery that can not hold voltage anymore, or having a very high resistance is really broken. What can i say more? This is your charger, if you want to be free in everything it is doing!Contra: Small display (2x 16 characters), poor quality of the provided cable ( i ordered new and better ones already), Difficult for beginners, Input button feels cheap, 100% plastic, little or no info on how to make your own program in windows, you need to know about programming in C, they only give you some examples on the DVD. The rest you can figure out...
